摘要
美国法律对划分营利和非营利学校有很清楚的界限。由于这条界限,营利和非营利学校必须遵守不同的行为规则。可以说,这两类学校各有长处和不足,也有不可互相替代的社会作用。认真研究这些情况,对解决我国教育改革和教育研究中的理论和实践问题有启示和借鉴意义。
The U.S. law draws a clear line between for-profit and nonprofit schools. These two kinds of educational institutions must follow different rules because of this line. Therefore, these two kinds of schools have their strong and weak points, and play their different roles in society. A careful examination of the relevant U.S. laws will contribute to the solution of some theoretical and practical problems in China's educational reform and studies.
