The Old God Has Died While the New God Hasn't Appeared——On the Nihilism in Wang Shuo's Fiction

王朔的小说描述了一群无所事事的"顽主",从侧面展现了当代人虚无的生命状态以及整个时代的精神危机。王朔运用小说这一形式对以往的最高价值体系,传统道德精神和政治理念进行嘲弄和拆解,使之虚无化。文章通过对荒芜非理性的玩世意味、零散化拼贴的情节模式、拆解意义的文学语言等文本建构的因素的分析,考察王朔作品含蕴含的虚无主义色彩,并结合作者所处的现实语境,谈谈这种虚无主义色彩在王朔小说得以畅销中所起的作用。

Wang Shuo＇s fiction describes a group of idle and stubborn characters showing the emptiness of the lives of contemporary people and their spiritual crisis in the entire times.Wang Shuo made a mockery of the past supreme value systems,traditional morals and political ideas in the form of fiction and dismantled them to make them nihilistic.This article attempts to analyze the factors of the text construction—the ridiculous and non-rational idleness,the collage mode of fragmented plots,the dismantling literary language to inspect the nihilism implied in Wang Shuo＇s works and discusses its role in the Wang Shuo＇s best-selling novels in combination with the author＇s realistic context.
