瓦塘江泵站利用厂坝挡住郁江洪水，用水泵抽水降低内江水位，保护流域内村庄、耕地及原有水利设施。根据水文资料和地质情况，进行泵站枢纽布置设计、选择机型、计算厂房稳定等。

Watangjiang pumping station retains the flood of outer river by dike dam,reduces the water level of inner river by water pump,and protects the village, farmland and water conservancy establishment along by the river.The stability calculation of power house, selection of unit type and layout of pumping station are carried out based on the hydrological datum and geological conditions.
