On the Cultural Factors in the Trend of Refined and Popular Poetry (Poems and Ci) of the Song Dynasty

宋代诗词在文化转型过程中,因文体特点、创作心态及发展阶段的不同,在雅俗走向上产生了很大的差异,是宋代文化中雅俗观念的直接体现,又在一定程度上引导了雅俗两种文化的交融。这种现象说明,时代文化影响甚至制约着文学的发展,同时文学自身规律的发展,又促使社会意识形态及审美情趣等发生改变,并对文化走向产生一定的作用。

The poetry（poem and Ci） of the Song Dynasty displayed huge differences in its refined-and-popular-growing trends due to disparity in stylistic features,creation mentality,and developmental stage in the cultural transformation of the Song Dynasty.Both refined and popular poetic forms are a reflection of the refined and popular tastes and mentalities embodied in the culture of the Song Dynasty,and both had contributed to the blending of the two cultural tastes to a certain degree.This phenomenon testifies to the fact that the culture of a new era affects and restricts the development of literature and that the evolvement of literary laws and features may effect a change in social ideology and aesthetic tastes,which will eventually shape the course of the culture in that era.
