Views of Nature in Chinese and Western Traditional Cultures from the Perspective of Relationship between Object and Subject

由于自然地理条件的不同,中西传统文化"天人合一"与"天人二分"的自然观也截然不同,并进而影响了中西方人不同的思维方式、不同的文化生活观念。中西方的自然观各有优劣,在世界一体化的大融合时代背景下,两种自然观应该取长补短、兼容并包、和谐发展。

With different geographical conditions, the views of nature of Chinese ＂integration of Man and Nature＂ and the Western ＂disintegration of Man and Nature＂ vary distinctively. By analyzing the fundamental reasons of the different views of nature from the geographical conditions, this article gen- eralizes that differences cause different ways of thinking. Furthermore, it analyzes their influences on cultures, people＇ s lives, languages and so on. All in all, it is vital for us to comprehend similarities and differences between views of nature and to develop society fully and harmoniously.
