摘要
科学与民主、自由在内涵和精神上一体化,在历史和逻辑上联结,且能够相辅相成地互动。在某种意义和程度上,科学、民主、自由可谓三位一体。科学的社会建制或科学精神气质的一个综合性特征是国际主义的或世界主义的,这是由科学的技术规范和科学方法决定的,它们保证了科学知识的客观性、似真性、普适性、一致性;更是由科学的道德规范即科学精神气质决定的,特别是科学的普遍性、公有性、非牟利性、自主性等价值表达,是支撑它的重要基石。科学家虽有自己的祖国,但科学家毕竟是世界公民。
Science, democracy and freedom integral in connotation and spirit, connect with each other in history and logic, and can interact mutually in supplement and compliment. To some extent, the three can be described as Trinity. A synthetic feature of scientific institution or ethos is internationalism or cosmopolitanism, which is determined by the technical specifications and methods of science. It is also determined by the ethnics of science. In particular, the values of science such as universality and independence are the cornerstone of it.
