On the Limitations of Weiyuan's Thought:The Reproduction of Public Opinion in the Restoration of Political Commentator Newspaper

魏源是近代中国提出改革开放思想的第一人,但受时代的局限,其在政治、经济、教育改革思想以及对待中西文化态度等方面存在着严重不足,这种不足对时隔几十年后的维新运动产生了重要影响,并反映在维新政论报刊舆论之中。

Wei Yuan was the first man who had put forward the reform and opening_up ideas in modern China.But subject to the limitations of the era,there were serious inadequacies in his political,economic,education reform ideas and attitudes towards Chinese and Western cultures.Which had generated the important impact in the post-Restoration movement after decades,and had reflected in the public opinion among the reformers political commentator.
