《春秋》记鲁国君臣事,自有其法,与记他国事有明显不同。约合观之,有称谓有内外之别;记鲁事多有讳语;君臣聘会班次与用语多有讲究;征伐自败不书,他败则书等特点。

The Spring and Autumn Annals of other kingdoms.Observed on the whole,they have difference in the appellation and referring to being domestic or foreign.When recording the events about Lu Kingdom,taboo words were often used;great attention was paid to the language used to record the appointment by selection and order of the monarch and his ministers;it never recorded Lu Kingdom＇s failures in a punitive expedition while other kingdoms＇ failures would be recorded.
