摘要
徐特立早期在湖南从事教育工作时,积极参与女子教育,主张"妇女解放",宣扬"效忠祖国",坚信"女儿智力何曾弱",提出"强迫入学",并指出应"注意其特性"开展教学,有着比较丰富的女子教育思想与实践经验。他曾在梨江高小设立女子班,担任周氏女塾教员,创办长沙女子师范学校,担任湖南省立第一女子师范学校校长,为湖南近代女子教育的发展做出了较大的贡献。
When XU Te-li was early engaged in education in Hunan,he actively participated in women’s education.He proposed＂women’s liberation＂and advocated＂being loyal to the motherland＂.He had a strong belief that girl’s intelligence was not low at all,and proposed ＂the forced entry into schools＂.At the same time,he thought teaching should be carried out according to its characteristics.XU Te-li had rich women’s educational thinking and practice.He started women’s classes in Lijiang Primary School and worked as a teacher for girls only.He was the principal of the First Hunan Normal Women’s School as well as a founder of Changsha Women’s Normal School.XU Te-li made a great contribution to the development of modern women’s education in Hunan Province.
