Determination of the Main Components in Acetylsalicylic Acid Tablets by Thin-Layer Chromatography

复方乙酰水杨酸药片(又称复方阿斯匹林,APC)是常用的解热镇痛药。其主要成分是阿斯匹林、非那西丁和咖啡因。对APC药片中这三种组分的分析一般采用容量法,此法操作繁琐,溶剂消耗量大。

This paper presents a TLC method to determine three components in ApC tablets.The developing solvent,benzene-ether-acetic acid-methanol (100: 50:15:1),was used for the separation of aspirin,phenacetin and caffeine.The densitometric determination was carried out sing a Shimadzu Dual-Wavelength TLC Scanner CS-930.This method is very simple,rapid and the results are quite satisfactory.
