Analysis on the Nature of the Sememe

义位是由特定的语言形式表示的最小的能够独立运用的语义单位,是语义系统中最基本、最自然、最现成的语义单位,是与单个的词义相联系的一级语义单位,是与"义项"、"词义"、"语素义"、"语素组义"都有某种关系而又不完全等同的语义概念,是由特定的语言形式表示的一种语言义,是静态的、概括的、固定的语义单位,它不包括特定语言环境下产生的特殊的、临时的、具体的语用意义。

A sememe is the smallest semantic unit which can be used independently and it is expressed by specific linguistic form.It is the most basic,natural and existing semantic unit.A sememe has several natures：it is a kind of semantic unit attached with a single meaning in the first level.It is expressed by specific form and it has some relationship with separation of meanings,morphemic meaning and semanteme of morphemic groups but it＇s not equal with them.It is the smallest semantic unit which can be used independently.It is a kind of language meaning and it＇s a static,summary and fixed semantic unit.It doesn＇t contain the specific,temporary and particular pragmatic meaning which is caused under the specific linguistic environment.
