Citation analysis is the most frequently used as method of Scientometrics. It provides insights into the impact of the author or works in his/her field. Publish or Perish is online citation analysis software based on Google Scholar database, which can provide citation results and statistic analysis. This paper introduces its functions as well as application in foreign language teaching and research.
