Returning to Reason——Hope with Risk:Habermas’ Modernity Dimension

追溯了现代性的起源,从现代性的三个不同方面讨论了现代性自诞生以来如何兴起,又是如何随着资本主义的发展受到挑战。面对人们对现代性的质疑,法兰克福领军人物,德国哲学家、社会学家哈贝马斯重回现代性与理性的维度,力图恢复马克思主义的实践传统,通过重构话语的交往理论来纠治现代社会的病症,继续启蒙工程的改造。

After having traced the origin of modernity,the disputes on modernity are discussed in three different spheres：literature,philosophy,and society.These disputes remain modernity an unfavorable stand.Facing the negation to modernity from the post-modernists,the prominent figure of Frankfort school,the German philosopher and sociologist,Jurgen Habermas reverts to modernity and reason to debate with post-modernist.Proposing the theory of communication,he tries to help the modern people out of the instrumental rationality in order to cure the flaws in modern society and therefore continue to complete the project of the Enlighten.
