基于WiMAX的VoIP的QoS改进

摘要 为了提高无线资源的利用率,使WiMAX系统更好地支持语音业务,基于IEEE802.16e协议的QoS调度体系和已有的信息流优先级(Traffic Priority),引入新的信息流优先级乘数(Traffic Priority Multiplier)概念,提出使用高优先级的BE服务流承载SIP信令,以取代目前普遍使用nrtPS承载SIP信令的做法。通过对优先级乘数的不同设置,可以使WiMAX运营商更加灵活地分配有限的无线资源,从而提供更好的网络和语音服务。 In order to improve the utilization of wireless resources and make WiMAX system can support voice service better, based on QoS scheduling system and existing traffic priority of IEEE 802.16e protocol, the new traffic priority multiplier concept is introduced, using BE service flow with high priority instead of widely used nrtPS to carry SIP signaling is proposed. WiMAX operators can allocate limited wireless resources more flexibly by settings different traffic priority multiplier, so as to provide better network and voice services.
