In college English vocabulary teaching,we should combine conceptual metaphor with traditional vocabulary teaching methods,giving priority to basic words,constructing metaphorical associative mode,strengthening the lead-in of foreign culture,and stimulate students＇ initiative and activity to promote teaching effects.
