The main function and operational principle of mechanical expansion for SAWL pipe were introduced briefly,and the effect of some factors on mechanical expansion quality for SAWL pipe was analyzed,such as expansion ratio,axial lap,the number of fan-shaped block,the friction and lubrication between fan-shaped block and inner wall of steel pipe,tc.
