汉英委婉语的对比浅析

The Contrastive Study of Chinese Euphemism and English Euphemism

由于受到不同文化和心理因素的影响,汉英两种语言存在着许多相同和不同之处。本文阐述了委婉语的产生、定义和分类,并结合大量生动的实例分析了汉英委婉语的异同,以此来加深人们对于汉英委婉语所承载的不同文化内涵的理解,在跨文化交际中更好地使用委婉语。

Because of different cultures and psychology,both similarities and differences exist between Chinese euphemism and English euphemism.This paper presents the origin,the definition and the classification of euphemism,and also the similarities and differences between Chinese euphemism and English euphemism by using many vivid examples on the purpose to further understand the different cultures in Chinese and English and be better to use euphemism in intercultural communication.
