汉英感觉词语“热/hot”概念隐喻对比分析

A Comparative Study of the Conceptual Metaphor of "Re/Hot" in Chinese and English

触觉是人类最基本的感觉之一,温度是触觉中的一个重要方面。中西方因思维方式存在差异性,对触觉中的"热"感觉存在不同的认知投射,因而英汉语言中关于"热"的隐喻存在共性与个性。本文通过对比英汉语言中最基本的触觉词语"热/hot"隐喻的异同性,分析存在差异的原因,证实了人类隐喻系统中存在从基本、简单到抽象、复杂的认知方式。

The sense of touching,of which the feeling of temperature is an important part,is a basic feeling of mankind. Because of different forms of thinking, the conceptual metaphors of ＂Re/Hot＂ are different in Chinese and English. This paper investigates the universality and individuality of the metaphors of ＂Re/Hot＂ in both Chinese and English, and analyzes the reasons for the differences. It turns out that the way man categorizes the world is to project basic and simple conceptual metaphors to abstract and complicated ones.
