This paper is a review about the application of whey protein in clinical nutrition, including maintaining and enhancing mmunity, anti - free radical and anti - aging, maintenance of renal function and promoting wound healing. The role of disease prevention and control includes prevention and cure of the ＂four- high -disease＂, cardiovascu- lar and cerebrovascular diseases, digestive diseases and conduces to cancer and HIV treatment.
