在信息开放存取日益发展、谷歌、百度大行其道,搜索引擎已经成为人们查找资料的主要途径。图书馆只有把管理与新技术、新理念结合起来,正视与适应所出现的问题,才能够解决问题。图书馆学科馆员制度是新世纪图书馆创新服务的必然举措,是信息环境下高校图书馆迎接挑战,锐意进取的结果。它有利于图书馆既保持传统、又与时俱进,在服务建设中提升图书馆的工作水平和服务能力、改善服务效果、重塑图书馆自身形象。

Nowadays, with the development of open access to information, search engine such as Google and Baidu, has become the main way used to search information. In this situation, only library combines its management with new technology and idea, can it solve the problems. Subject librarian system is an inevitable measurement of university library＇s innovation in service and facing the challenge under the information environment. This system helps library keep traditional and advance with the time as well, improve its working level and service in the service construction, thus to reinvent its image.
