劳伦斯在小说《虹》中对自然的生态书写、对人类中心主义的深刻反思和对非理性哲学的高度崇尚都体现了作者极富前瞻性的生态思想。作者在小说中不遗余力地讴歌自然,其对"自然"的书写集中体现了他的生态之思:人是大自然的成员,人的物质生存和精神生存都离不开自然,人不能凌驾于自然之上,而应寻求与自然和谐互惠的生存方式,尊敬自然,敬畏生命。

In The Rainbow D.H.Lawrence expressed his insightful ecological consciousness through his representation of nature,his doubt about Anthropocentrism and his adherence to Irrationalism.He treated mankind as constituents of nature.Man should not dominate nature because both his material and spiritual existences depend upon it.He must seek to keep balance with nature,respect nature and hold life in awe.
