The technology of heavy ramming crushed stone column is a reinforcing method for soft earthing with large quantity,which has been applied for the first time in the Yangshan engineering.This paper introduces briefly the geological condition of the area the engineering located at,the design demands and the construction technology.Also it states in detail the key technical pointes of the construction and the new test methods.It is an attempt and probing to adopt the heavy ramming crushed stone column for reinforcing the foundation of Yangshan engineering,which could be popularized later.
