Sinicization of Costs Sharing Theory in Higher Education

高等教育成本分担理论由美国教育经济学家布鲁斯.约翰斯通提出,该理论在具备特定的社会背景条件和假设前提下,为缓解教育经费供给与需求之间的矛盾提供了现实路径。由于中美两国在经济、政治、历史、文化等方面存在较大差异,因此在借鉴该理论将其应用于中国的实践时,必须结合中国的具体国情,构建具有中国特色的高等教育成本分担机制。

The costs sharing theory in higher education was put forth by Bruce o John Stone.In a particular social context and with satisfaction of certain presupposition,the theory could provide a realistic approach in easing the contradiction between supply and demand of funds in higher education.However,there is a huge difference between China and U.S.A in such areas as economics,politics,history and culture.Therefore,it is necessary to take China＇s specific national conditions into consideration and to build our own costs sharing system in higher education with Chinese characteristics when learning and putting this theory into practice in China.
