The Exploration and Practice of Cultivating Non-English Majors' Ability for Sustainable Development in English Study

从训练学生听说读写译的基本功和基本技能入手,以培养非英语专业学生英语学习的可持续发展能力为核心,把教学重点放在学生的需求上,而不是仅仅完成教学任务。对非英语专业大学生在英语学方面的缺项或弱项进行有针对性地训练,确保他们在大学期间在英语学习方面都能学有所得,为将来进一步的学习和发展奠定良好的基础。

Focusing on cultivating non-English majors＇ ability for sustainable development in English study,the emphasis is put on the needs of students in English study,but not just finishing the teaching task starting from the training of students＇ basic skills in listening,speaking,reading,writing and translating.What is more,the training is aimed at their weaknesses in their English study to ensure（guarantee） that they will have acquired abilities for sustainable development in college English study and lay a good foundation for their further study and development.Two years of teaching practice shows that it is efficient that the emphasis is put on the training of basic skills in listening,speaking,reading,writing and translating for further improving non-English majors＇ abilities for sustainable development in English study.
