摘要
文章简要回顾了国内外ESP教学研究的最新发展，重点剖析了目前国内高校ESP教学存在的问题：ESP定位不够明确、课程设置不尽合理、ESP教学模式较为落后、ESP教材使用混乱、ESP师资相对薄弱和ESP教学管理混乱等，并尝试提出明确ESP课程定位、加快ESP教材开发、强化ESP师资培训和建立ESP网上资源库等四点应对策略。
This paper briefly reviews the most recent ESP developments both home and abroad, and analyzes the existing problems in China＇ s ESP teaching in great detail. The problems mainly includes ： unclear ESP positioning; inappropriate ESP curriculum ; backward.teaching patterns ; poor quality ESP textbooks ; weak ESP teaching faculty ; and loose ESP teaching organization. To tackle all these problems this author put forward 4 suggestions, namely to specify ESP positioning, quicken the steps for ESP books development, enhance ESP teachers training and set up online ESP information bank.
