摘要
A few pieces of green porcelains were excavated from Tiyuchang at the Guoneicheng site of Ji-an, Jilin Province, in 2003. Several lines of evidences, including the stratigraphy of these pieces, their shapes and decorations, and the date of other similar artifacts, joint together to show that these porcelain should be dated toward the last stage of the Western Jin Dynasty and the early stage of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. In addition, in comparison with the products from kilns in Zhejiang Province and the middle Yangtze River Valley, the similar characteristics in the body, glaze, and decoration of these green porcelains indicate that they might have been produced from the regions mentioned above, even though the possibility that these products came from Yue kiln cannot be excluded.
