This paper presents the screening and the diagnostic standards for pregnant women with autoimmune type 1 diabetes mellitus, and proposes the principles of early treatment, integrated treatment and individual treatment. The diet control and insulin therapy should be given to strictly control the blood sugar at the optimal level, reduce complications of both the mother and baby, and further improve perinatal outcomes.
