Burton o Clark presents the concept of ＂entrepreneurial university＂ in ＂Creating Entrepreneurial Universities： Organizational Pathways of Transformation＂ and sums up the pathways of transformation from the traditional universities to the entrepreneurial universities.He believes that today＇s universities,faced with a complex social environment,must change from passive dependency to active adaptation to realize the transformation from the traditional universities to the entrepreneurial universities,and then,the universities will become characteristic and serve the society effectively,which can be very helpful to China＇s current higher education.
