论汉晋音乐赋的社会功用

On the social function of music fu in the Han and Jin Dynasties

音乐赋是一种描写音乐、舞蹈等内容的文学作品。汉晋音乐赋在描写音乐、舞蹈等内容的同时,也担负着政治教化与娱乐两大社会功用。汉晋音乐赋的政治教化功用常与"移风易俗"的伦理说教联系在一起,并试图通过音乐、舞蹈等内容的描写,来净化人心,从而有助于立身、立国。同时,汉晋音乐赋也注重追求音乐的娱乐功用,描写乐舞给人赏心悦目之感。在汉晋阶段,音乐赋的这两种功用常常交织在一起。到了六朝,音乐赋的娱乐功用渐渐取代了政教功用而一枝独秀。

Music fu is a kind of literary work describing music and dance. In addition to describing music and dance, music fu in the Han and Jin Dynasties carried the two important social functions of political enlightenment and entertainment. Its function of political enlightenment was often related to moral content to purify people’s spirit through description of music and dance. It also pursued music’s entertainment function. The two functions of music fu coexisted in the Han and Jin Dynasties, but its political enlightenment function was replaced by entertainment function in the Six Dynasties.
