金译本《尤利西斯》的创造性翻译研究

Study on the creative translation of Jin Di’s Chinese version of Ulysses

意识流的代表作《尤利西斯》被人们称为20世纪最伟大的英文作品,其中文全译本主要有金隄译本和萧乾译本两种。金译本《尤利西斯》被评论家称为"忠实原文而不够灵活"。其实,创造性翻译的运用,是金译本翻译的真正方法,其翻译并不拘泥或是"直译",而是在等效翻译理论的指导下非常灵活地传达文学作品的艺术完整性。

As the representative work of stream of consciousness, Ulysses is regarded as the greatest work in English language in the 20th century. Jin Di’s version and Xiao Qian’s version are the two main translation versions. Jin Di’s translation was considered to be too faithful to the original work but is not flexible enough. In reality, the actual method used by Jin Di is creative translation. As a result, instead of literal translation, he flexibly kept the artistic integrity of literary works under the guidance of equivalent effect theory.
