"无产阶级专政下继续革命"理论是社会主义建设和探索时期马克思主义中国化历史进程曲折发展的结果和产物。这一错误理论既不符合马克思主义基本原理,也不符合当时中国社会的实际,因而不属于马克思主义中国化范畴。这一错误理论给我国的社会主义现代化建设事业带来了重大损失,对新时期继续推进马克思主义中国化这一伟大历史工程有着深刻的借鉴和警醒意义。

＂Continuing revolution under the dictatorship of the proletariat＂ theory was the result of the tortuous process of Marxism in China when China tried to explore the way to construct socialism. This erroneous theory was inconsistent with the basic tenets of Marxism and did not conform to the actual social conditions of China then. Therefore, it did not belong to the category of Marxism in China. This erroneous theory brought great loss to our country’s cause of socialist modernization construction.It would awaken us when we continue to push forward Marxism in China in the new period.
