新时期文学三十年的整体成就相对现代文学三十年,存在被严重低估的现象,已经成为经典的现代作家作品本身成为一种伟大传统证明了自身的存在价值,再让我辈追认似乎已无必要。对于新时期文学我们在看到存在问题的同时,没必要自卑而持一种价值虚无的态度,产生不必要的创新焦虑情绪,这样才能用更积极自信的态度去看待前世经典,发掘当今的文学经典,对当今文学所特有的品质给予公正判断。

Compared with modem literature in its 30 years, the 30-year literature of the new period has been extremely underestimated in its holistic achievements. As a matter of fact, that modem writers and their works that have become classics as well as great tradition of one kind has testified tO their value of existence, which does not seem to need any subsequent endorsement by us. While we are conscious of problems in literature of the new period, we need not humble ourselves and adopt an attitude of value nihilism so as to embrace any unnecessary anxiety for innovation. Only by so doing can we handle classics of previous generations more actively and confidently, and discover current literary classics so as to do justice to the culiar to literature nowadays. quality peculiar to literature nowadays.
