As a modern writer with life consciousness,D.H.Lawrence embraced a broad vision and delved into the spiritual predicament of modern mankind.In his works,Lawrence managed to give due priority to and considerations on life,which is reflective of his consciousness of modern humankind and human life.By sampling Lady Chatterlay＇s Lover,this paper attempts to expound on Lawrence＇s interest in and considerations on life in terms of life reality,human spirit and social advancement in his works.
