译者伦理视角下的翻译质量评估

Assessment of Translation Quality from Perspective of Translator's Ethics

传统翻译理论以忠实作为翻译的准则,随着翻译研究的进一步深入,翻译理论从忠实/不忠实问题转向伦理观念。对翻译质量进行评估依赖一定的标准,而不同的翻译观、不同的译者伦理有不同的翻译标准。本文以Chesterman的五种翻译伦理模式为依据,分析探讨译者伦理和翻译质量评估之间的关系。

＂ Faithfulness＂ has long been considered as the standard of translation. With the development of translation studies, the angel of translation theory has changed from faithfulness / unfaithfulness to ethics. Translation quality assessment is on the basis of certain criterion while different translation theories and translator＇ s ethics attribute to different translation criteria. In the light of Chesterman＇ s five models of translation ethics, this paper is to analyze the relationship between translator＇ s ethics and assessment of translation quality.
