摘要
高职英语阅读在整个英语教学中具有举足轻重的地位，其目的是提高学生的语言能力，达到在交际中熟练运用语言的目的。本文主要综述了衔接理论，并探讨了在高职英语阅读教学中的应用，最后指出衔接理论对高职英语阅读教学的指导作用。
English Reading in the English language teaching plays a decisive role, which aims to improve the language ability of students to achieve proficiency in the use of language communication purposes. This paper reviews the theory of convergence, and to explore reading in college English teaching, and finally pointed out that the convergence theory of the vocational guidance of teaching English reading.
