论广西桂柳运河沿岸地区商业系统的空间结构

On the Space Structure of the Business System in the Coastal Region of the Guiliu Canal

本文利用文献资料和实地调查资料,以历史时空观为指导,具体展现了清至民国广西桂柳运河沿岸地区商业系统的空间结构。认为码头、泊湾和货坪、商道和桥梁、会馆及其仓库、墟镇、庙宇等是支撑这一结构的有形要素;社会环境和交易制度是支撑这一结构的无形要素;国家实施的西南边疆经济开发政策、移民运动和"康乾盛世"的社会影响则为这一结构的扩大奠定了较坚实的基础。社会的开放程度决定着商业空间结构的广度和硬度。

Based on historical documents and field surveys, and guided by the view of time and space on history, this paper specifically presents the space structure of the business system in the coastal region of Guiliu Canal from Qing Dynasty to the period of Republic of China. The paper maintains that docks, parking bays and cargo aprons, commercial routes and bridges, assembly halls and warehouses, together with open - air markets and temples, are the tangible factors on which this structure rests; while the so- cial environment and the business regulations are the intangible factors. The paper also states that the policy for economic development in the southwest frontier region, the immigation movement and the so- cial influence of ＂Kang - Qian Golden Age＇~ have laid a solid foundation for the expanding of this structure. Furthermore, the scope and the firmness of the business space structure depend on how open the society is.
