所谓"蚁族",是指高校毕业生低收入聚居群体。当前,大学生就业形势日趋严峻,许多大学生宁愿做"蚁族",在大城市过着艰苦生活也不愿到中西部或回乡就业。由于各种社会原因,"蚁族"的思想政治教育现状不太令人乐观。积极探索"蚁族"思想政治教育的新形势、新内容和新途径,对于"蚁族"的健康成长和社会和谐具有重大的理论指导和现实意义。

The so called ＂Ant Race＂ refers to the＂ college graduates living in groups on low income＇. Nowadays, college studenis are facing more and more severe employment situation. However, Many of them would rather become the ＂Ant Race＂ and live a hard life in large cities than go to Mid- western China or returen their hometown for employment. Due to various social reasons, the ideological education on the＂Ant Race＂is not satisfying. We should conduct an active exploration on the iedological education on the＂ Ant Race＂, in the aspects of new situation, new content, and new approaches, which is of great theoretical guidance and practical significance to their healthy development and social harmony.
