Under the influence of input current, load nature and disposition etc aspects, the inverse transforming power supply may be interrupted and even inverse transforming devices might be damaged. Description was made on working principle of the on-line inverse transforming power supply. Discussion was made to power source, load ratio size, disposition parameters and complete protection functions etc issues which should be noticed in application of the inverse transforming power supply. In site operation, the inverse transforming power supply should be reasonably applied, operation status of the inverse transforming power supply adjusted in time according to input power actual state and load nature, to make it in most optimistic operation effect.
