The Calculation of the Spontaneous Emission Rate of a Quadrupole in the Multi-layered Media

利用平面分层介质中电磁场Green函数的解析形式,求解位于复杂分层介质结构中的原子电四极自发辐射速率。考虑一特例,结果表明与特殊介质结构中由电磁场模式求解的电四极子衰减速率相同。

Using the analytical expression of electromagnetic field Green function for an multi-layered system,we calculate the spontaneous emission rate of a quadrupole placed in the multi-layered complex media.Considering a special case,in which calculate the emission rate by using the electromagnetic field mode functions,we find that our expression of spontaneous emission rate of a quadrupole is the same as one for the special case.
