A Trial Explanation of Ming Yi’s Verse "Bu Ji Jin Chai Zheng Fu Tu"

明义《题红楼梦》第七首第二句是"不记金钗正幅图"。有人怀疑"正幅图"是"正副图"之误。钞本写的是"正幅"。《牡丹亭》里有"金钗"入"图"。对《牡丹亭.幽媾》的柳梦梅与杜丽娘的风流幽会,明义所见《红楼梦》将其变成宝玉在梦中和金钗(小名"颦颦")的风流幽会。对《牡丹亭.写真》里的杜丽娘的题诗和柳梦梅的步韵,明义所见《红楼梦》将其变成了宝玉在梦中对金钗的题诗而步韵。在明义所见《红楼梦》里,宝玉梦见的是一幅图,而不是多幅图(十五幅图)。明义可能运用了"正"与"整"通假的知识。宝玉、颦颦与柳梦梅、杜丽娘,皆为"情痴"。《石头记》第51回薛宝琴的《梅花观怀古》,在明义所见《红楼梦》里,可能是宝玉写的"步韵"诗。

The second verse of the seventh poem in Ti Hong Lou Meng by Ming Yi is ＂bu ji jin chai zheng fu tu＂.Some people suspected that ＂zheng fu（幅） tu ＂ is a mistake of ＂zheng fu（副） tu＂.It is ＂zheng fu（幅）＂ in the copy ones.In Mu Dan Ting,＂jin chai＂ enters into the picture.In Ming Yi’s View on A Dream of Red Mansions,influenced by the event of the romantic tryst between Liu Mengmei and Du Liniang in Mu Dan Ting：You Gou,he made the same story happened between Jia Baoyu and Jin Chai（＂pin pin＂ is the nickname）,and he also made Du Liniang’s verses and Liu Mengmei’s rhyme in Mu Dan Ting：Xie Zhen change into Jia Baoyu’s verses that use Liu Mengmei’s rhyme to Jin Chai in his dream.To Ming Yi’s viewpoint,the scenery appeared in Jia Baoyu’s dream is one picture but not many（15 pictures）.It is quite possible that Ming Yi applied the phonetic loan characters of ＂zheng（正）＂ and ＂zheng（整）＂.Jia Baoyu,Jin Chai,Liu mengmei and Du Liniang are all love-struck people.In the fifty-five chapter of The Story of the Stone,Xuebao Qin＇s Mei Hua Guan Huai Gu,to Ming Yi,is a poem written by Jia Baoyu that used another poem’s rhyme.
