In the sense of aesthetics,the fashion of judging persons by appearance in pre-Qin period was the positive phe-nomenon,reflecting the aesthetic transition from external beauty to internal beauty in pre-Qin somaesthetical history.Judging per-sons by appearance not only had founded on aesthetic cognition of uniformity between external beauty and internal beauty,but also been influenced by aesthetic thoughts of shaping spirits by body and thinking by using images in pre-Qin cultural context.
