"边缘"是大江创作的理念和方法,他"从边缘出发",表现现代世界、把握现代危机本质的根本所在。大众笑文化系统支撑下的边缘民众的神话/传说世界,凸显"边缘人"的声音,并将寻找自我和寻找民族传统文化精神紧密相连。大江希望通过置身于世界边缘的人,呼唤着拯救日本的"新人"的出现,摆脱政治的桎梏,绽放自己完整的人性,从而从个人和时代的痛苦中恢复出来,重塑民族精神、拯救迷失在现代文明中的日本,寻找真正自我的回归。
Starting from the concept of Margin,which is the ideology and methodology of his creative writing, Mr.Oe strives to comprehend and reveal the core of the modern world and the gist of its crisis. The mythological world of the Margins, backboned by popular laughter culture, highlights the voice of the marginal people, and closely connects the self-searching endeavour with searching for national cultural spirit. Mr.Kenzaburo Oe, through the marginal people, calls for the appearance of "the new persons" who can save Japan, and get rid of political shackles, show his whole human nature, so they can recover from individual and the times’ pain, remould the national spirit and save Japan which is lost in the modern civilization.
