Performance of M-LWDF scheduling algorithm in HSDPA for streaming service

在高速下行分组接入(HSDPA)系统中,无线资源管理功能主要利用分组调度算法来实现。介绍了HSDPA成熟的实时业务调度算法M-LWDF,针对其在公平性方面的缺陷,对此算法进行了改进。通过引入最小吞吐量来保证提高用户信道条件差的用户优先级,并对这2种算法在公平性和吞吐量等方面进行比较分析。仿真结果表明,改进的M_LWDF算法比原M_LWDF算法更加合理,提高了信道质量差的用户优先级,但是此公平性是以吞吐量的降低为代价的。

Radio resource management（RRM） is mainly implemented by scheduling algorithm in high speed downlink packef access（HSDPA） system.This paper introduced real time scheduling algorithm modified largest wait first（M-LWDF）,which was unfair for users under bad propagation condition.For this,the paper modified its fairness,improved the priority level of users of low throughput by the minimum throughput coefficient,and analyzed the two algorithms in fairness and throughput.The result shows that the modified algorithm is more reasonable than the original one in raising the priority level at the expense of throughput.
