Art and Life:A Model of Art Magazines and Pictorials during the Period of the Republic of China

基于20世纪30年代的文艺思潮背景,通过对《美术生活》的个案研究,考察杂志的办刊路线和艺术主张、期刊定位与内容取向、编辑团队与创办单位,分析民国时期美术画报类期刊的生态环境、学术价值和运作模式,进而厘清民国时期杂志媒介与美术大众传播的关系问题。

Based on the background of the literary and artistic trend in the 1930s and through the case study of Art and Life,the paper studies the guidelines,attitudes towards art,the orientation of the magazine and the preference of its contents,its editors and originators. Through analyzing the ecological environment,academic value and operation pattern of the art periodicals and pictorials during the period of the Republic of China,the author makes clear the relationship between the magazine medium and the art mass communication during that period.
