The outbreak of the U. S. financial crisis is not an emergency but a new form of the periodic crises of capitalism. Economic over- financialization and virtualization which is mainly promoted by financial monopoly capital, especially the intro- duction of the"poisonous" financial derivatives, make the deformity of the U.S. financial structure, increase the risk of the fi- nancial system, and lead to the outbreak of the unprecedented serious financial crisis. Although the financial crisis is the direct product of the intensification of the conflicts inside the financial system, the root cause is still the conflict between expanding production capacity and insufficient endogenous demand in the real economy.
