As the information technology and popularization of information management systems in industry develop increasingly extensive and in - depth, medical and health industry is also faced with the technological innovation. In order to reduce the labor intensity of hospital employees, increase work efficiency and improve the theoretical basis for leadership decision -making, this article designs a hospital information management system based on the analysis of the hospital demands. With a focus on database system design and taking the management of outpatients as the example, a design of the system of the process is described in detail and the concrete realization is introduced. It adapts well to small and medium- sized hospitals.
