Taking RFID library management system implemented jointly by Guiyang Library and Shenzhen Invengo Company as an example,this paper introduces the RFID,analyzes the reasons why the library needs RFID technology,expounds the comparison of RFID technology and bar code technology,explains the application of RFID technology in Guiyang Library,existing problems,and the social benefit and ecological benefit brought about by RFID technology to the library.
