On June 1,the platform for global on-line shopping network constructed by Taobao and Softbank China Venture Capital,with its controlling shareholder,Yahoo(Japan),came on line formally,on the foundation of which,Taobao and Yahoo(Japan)will construct two platforms separately by the underlying data dock——'Shopping in Japan' of Taobao Net and 'China Mart' of Yahoo(Japan).'Shopping in Japan' in Taobao Net is a Chinese platform which provides clients of Taobao with products of Japan,while,'China Mart' in Yahoo(Japan) is a Japanese platform which provides China's products to clients of Yahoo(Japan).According to statistics of both sides,after going on line,'Shopping in Japan ' will supply 8 million kinds of products to Chinese consumers,and 'China Mart' on Yahoo(Japan) will put 50 million kinds of products on line.Up to now,Taobao Net,which is a prominent hub in northern China,has taken the first step towards the transnational magnate in the field of on-line shopping.Concrete issues,such as Logistics,payments and services after sales,are key to the success of Taobao.
