摘要 "优先发展公共交通"作为减少城市客运交通碳排放的有效手段,得到了世界各国的广泛认同。研究表明,按照同样的能源需求增长率,优化交通模式可获得较优的减排效果。以厦门市为研究案例,介绍了厦门市快速公交系统BRT的发展情况,着重计算比较了不同公交出行方式的碳排放情况。结果表明,乘坐BRT出行,每位乘客所产生的碳足迹明显低于乘坐普通公交出行的乘客。指出在城市公交系统建设过程中,推广快速公交系统是气候变化适应性政策有效的技术手段。 Global warming has been identified as one of the greatest challenges facing nations, governments, business and citizens over decades and carbon dioxide emissions from human activities are among the largest sources in the environment. As the increasing percentage of carbon dioxide emissions contributed by vehicles has reached up to 25% in the past decade, effective ways to reducing the emissions from vehicles become imperative to find out. While Xiamen city was taken as a study case, the development of a bus rapid transit (BRT) system was herein presented. The carbon footprints were calculated and compared between two scenarios: a system relying upon diesel bus fleet and a BRT system using low emission buses. It has been shown that the BRT would be an effective technical means for policy adaptation to the climate change.
