The Construction of Subject-based Knowledge Gateway in University Library

针对互联网中搜索引擎检准率不足,以及高校科研人员在特定学科或主题领域检索中所遭遇的尴尬,学科信息门户的作用凸显,本文从网络环境下用户对高校图书馆信息服务的需求入手,阐述了学科信息门户产生的基础及其特有优势,探讨了如何构建基于知识服务的学科信息门户,并对其建设的可持续发展做出了思考。

The lack of accuracy in Internet search engine lead academic researchers to an embarrassing situation when they go to specific disciplines or subject retrieval. Thus,the role of subject-based information gateway is highlighted. This article tries to analyze the demand of the users for university library information service in the network environment and discusses the foundation of the birth of subject-based information gateway and its development status. It expatiates how to construct the subject-based information gateway system with the concept of knowledge service,and also gives some ideas of how to promote the sustainable development of subject-based information gateway.
